DS4 2021 1.6 petrol 180 and 225

Hello folks, is there any mechanical/hardware differences in these two engines 180hp 5GF / EP6FADTXD and 225hp 5GG / EP6FADTX or is this 180 just de-tuned?

What should be done to reach 225?

I haven’t analyzed this, so I can’t offer any suggestions.

The injectors for the 180 and 225 HP versions are the same, so the turbo needs to be compared as well. If that is also the same, then it just comes down to the software.

I found that they use the same turbo BorgWarner 53039880830

  • 5GF – EP6FADTXD – 1.6 PureTech 180 / 133 kW
  • 5GG – EP6FADTX – 1.6 PureTech 225 / 165 kW

If it’s just software, 250HP is possible.
