E-tense electric range

Correct me if I’m wrong.
Its been a while since I saw an over the air update in my car, but I don’t think it states what type of update is being sent, it just says an update is available, so how would an owner know if he/she was accepting this particular update ?

So, have DS now put this right with dealerships.
My dealership service technician told me some updates are dealership only, they wont be sent via over the air.
Just wondering if this update could be a dealership update only ?

When ever my car, and any previous cars that I’ve owned, have gone in for an annual service, the dealerships have always updated the software with their latest releases as part of the service plan.

Mine is actually due for it’s first service now, so I’ll be booking it in soon, I’ll mention this update to them and see what their response is.

I don’t have any information yet if they’ve fixed it, so I assume not yet.

Forbid them from doing so if the TBMU_PHEV update is available. It’s better for your health

Can I ask, how you come by the DS info and have this knowledge on their systems.

Its like trying to get blood out of a stone when I ask questions or query something at my dealership, in fact it’s the same with DS customer care as well.

This problem affects all 1.6 PHEV cars from Citroën, Peugeot, Opel, and DS. It’s the same e-drive. The source is Peugeot.

And I think Vauxhall, which is also Opel.

Of course, sorry.
