But when using the handbrake, the ECU’s will put the gearbox into nuetral, but it won’t change the display, that way, you (the driver) knows that to pull away you just need to press the accelerator, the gearbox will go into drive and the handbrake will release.

Mmmm,
If I put the parking brake on (P), or the main handbrake, the display doesn’t show D1 any more .
I have to select D again to pull off .

I knew I could feel it disengaging when brake pedal Is pressed when stopped.

It went back into the dealership who have reset the learned behaviours’ and it does seem to be better now.

In my opinion, the mileage is too low to require a calibration reset. A computer isn’t a solution to fix the problem. I’d keep looking.

BTW, at that mileage, the transmission fluid should be changed for the first time.
