Hello, I’ve recently become the happy owner of a DS 7 Crossback… absolutely loving the car so far!
However, the car did not not come equipped with a variable boot floor and I was hoping if anyone knows if it can be easily purchased/fitted? I’ve had a good search online for the shelf, but without any luck. It seems a tricky thing to search for as my searches keep returning the boot trays and not the actual ‘false’ floor.
Just wondering if anyone has experience of doing this themselves, or if they have seen any for sale etc.
I would contact Your local dealership, false floor may not be available as an accessory to buy but for sure it is available as a service part in case if someone has broken his shelf.
You may be also suprised in terms of price, for example, front FOCAL Electra tweeter in aftermarket (used from totaled cars) costs most of the time around 60EUR. NEW one in dealership costs around 25EUR.
@ceejay2222 I’m in the same boat. Here’s what I was able to find. I’m planning on contacting them for them to check if this is compatible with my car as they can apparently check the part compatibility by VIN number:
This will only fit if you also have the plastic mouldings either side (yellow). The trim is different should also be metal (red) and there are parts for the shelf to rest on at the back of the boot (green).
Oh, really? Ok, tell me more, please. Do you happen to know if I can order these parts online? Would I have to have them installed by a professional or can I install them myself?
