Aircon - white mist coming from vents?

I recently had the aircon on my 2022 DS4 re-gassed about 6 weeks ago, and it made a big improvement to the chilled air coming from the vents (= happy wife). On the last couple of journeys, there has been a bit of white “mist” coming from the cabin air vents - no smell, or no noticeable reduction in air con effectiveness (yet).

Maybe this is normal behaviour, due to the ambient air temp and humidity, but I am wondering if it is symptom of a aircon system leak or fault.

Thanks,

If it is a small system leak, symptoms will appear soon. I know of no other cause for the appearance of white smoke.

This may not be the same as yours Andy, but a few years ago my wifes car was intermittently emitting a very fine mist through the vents when the A/C was on and set to the coldest setting, however if the setting was higher the misting stopped.
There was also a slight hissing when the A/C was on.
We were convinced there was a leak but none could be found.
Heres the odd bit though, we had the car re-gassed and the hissing stopped, so did the mist, yet yours started after being re-gassed ?
The A/C people we took the car to said hissing and misting can sometimes be symptom of low gas.

If I recall, they ran a fluorescent die through the system checking for leaks before re-gassing.

Thanks for the comments. There was no white mist immediately after the re-gas, which only happened recently (about 5-6 weeks after). I’ll see what happens to the temp and if air con is getting less effective, and get it checked out.
