Today I’ve put a new battery on my DS7 1.6 petrol Rivoli, all went well on the installation but how do I reset the alarm. Each time I lock the car with the remote, two minutes or so later the alarm goes off, I then deactivate it with the remote. How do I reset the alarm. ???
On my DS4 you can switch the alarm off on the head console up by the mirror.
I’ve disconnected and reconnected my battery a few times, but the alarm never activates afterwards ?
Hi Jactac, many thanks for the recommendation, I read in my DS7 manual that when you reconnect the battery, switch on the ignition but do not start the car for 10 minutes whilst all the system electronics reset. I’ve tried this today and the alarm sets ok on the fob and does not go off, so for now all seems to be reinitialised.
I’ll keep my fingers crossed for a couple of days.

The batteries need to do need to settle .
same applies if you ever need recharge them, always wait a little while before starting the charge and again after completing a charge.
