I know this has been asked before , many times.
But , really, what does this do ???
If someone can explain these points it would be great .
When selected from settings what is supposed to happen,
When left on should it stay on after the car is switched off, mine goes back to off and needs switching back on if I switch off the car and lock it up . It stays on if I just switch the car off but dont lock it up.
Is the Ambient sound supposed to come from all of the cars speakers.
How is the change in sound heard if you are listening to the radio or music
if you mute the radio does it mute the Ambient Sport sound.
I cant hear no difference what so ever with it on or off.
First, engage Sport drive mode instead of Hybrid/Comfort/Electric. You should then hear “exhaust” sounds from the speakers, along with the radio sounds.
I thought DS couldn’t make a feature more pointless than the Smart Touch, but they’ve certainly excelled themselves with the Sports Ambience Sound feature, it’s beyond pointless.
Well done the boffins at DS.
I have noticed if you leave the car in “D” and in Sports mode the actual exhaust sounds a bit more “sporty”, when the car is ticking over, not from the speakers, but from the actual exhaust tips.
But when you drop it into “N”, the revs drop slightly and the tone from the exhaust tips also drop.
But as far as hearing anything from the speakers, I cant hear any difference.
