Buying a 2021 Crossback; what to know?

Hi Everyone,

New to the forums and new to DS. I am considering the purchase of a 2021 hybrid DS7 crossback 4x2. It’s got some miles - about 55k or so. Very nicely equipped with Focal and heated seats.

Question is really — for those with this gen, what’s your experience been like as an owner? Sounds like the dealership experience is not always optimal. But the car itself? Reliability, items to look out for, typical issues?

Given your experiences, would you buy your DS 7 again?

This is in southern France, so I’m hopeful the DS dealership experience is not terrible.

Coming from the US where we don’t have DS but Stellantis is a very dirty word

Welcome to the forum,

I have a DS7 E-Tense 4x4 300 (2020) and I am very satisfied with it.
What you need to pay attention to is whether all recalls have been completed on the car you are planning to buy. And of course, you should check the condition of the battery and how well all the services have been carried out.

Thanks much. The battery in this particular model is reported at ~91% which I think is acceptable and all service records seem to be available. Appreciate your time.

This version has two 12V batteries. The main one under the bonnet is usually fine. Check the one in the trunk under the floor.
