It should be covered this way because it’s designed for radar readings. It also protects the radar from rocks, for example.

Ah thanks for that, I made a replacement froma plastic basket many gaps and a message came up on the screen which said "imminent collision " so I thought thta the radar hasd bounced back off the cover I made even though it had load of gaps in it,
The one on the internet (second Hand) is 69Euros and it looks solid but must be correct?
