Hi all,
We bought a DS3 (2017) for our son and are having difficulty finding a certain part for it.
The radio screen was broken when we bought it and we got that sorted only to find that it was disconnected (potentially to hide an “engine fault: repair needed” error message). The car then started to go into limp mode after about the first 50km. We put it through diagnostics and it came up with error P0014. I checked online and was advised to change the camshaft sensor (solenoid). My mechanic removed the part and took a picture of it. It had the number 9832156780 on it. We’ve tried all the local motor factors and they can’t get it but they have suggested a fede bilstein part 102775. It wouldnt fit properly and my mechanic did a little massaging to make it fit (changed the wiring connector and widened the hole in the bracket) but it was still reading an issue on diagnostics. He then left the old part back in and bypassed it by connecting the wires so she’s not going into limp mode now but the engine fault message is still showing. We did contact the main dealer but they suggested wet belt issue. My mechanic checked this and said no issue as the wet belt was fine. Car has 75,000 km since new.
I’m not happy with bypassing the part and would like to get it resolved properly. Has anyone experienced the same issue and could advise?
