I have the same problem; I constantly hear a noise coming from the front of the car. It’s especially a rattling sound from the front right side, and it happens at slow speeds when the roads are bad. Many of my DS9 owner friends are experiencing the same issue. Have you been able to solve it?
I just can’t get rid of this creaking sound coming from the front right side. It seems like a very simple problem, but I still haven’t found a solution. Do DS officials have any information about this?
This is not the right thread because DS7 doesn’t have this issue.
The noise you’re hearing on front right is also present in a DS4 d41 and a Peugeot 508 r8 with active suspension (in new cars too). Your sound is likely coming from the shock absorbers. Do you have active suspension?
I know, Ds7 doesn’t have this issue but For the ds9 this problem is really annoying.
Yes I have active suspension
I don’t think it’s exactly the shock absorber’s fault; some people even go to the service center, have the shock absorbers replaced, and still experience this noise.
I live in Turkey. DS9s have sold more here compared to others. We have a WhatsApp group where many people are reporting this problem. If you solve it, remember that you’ll be providing a lot of support to all of us.
Apparently, and I emphasize, apparently… there might be something wrong with the lower engine mount to the suspension frame. The bolts connecting this mount should be checked and tightened. But this lead is new and hasn’t been fully verified yet.
Where are you from
I have the same mileage more or less, and the same issue. Did you get yours fixed? What was the solution?
