Dash Security Camera

I have a DS7 Opera.
The car has two cameras, one at the front and one at the rear, which are activated when reversing and provide a 360º view to facilitate parking maneuvers.

Is it possible to use/take advantage of these cameras as a security Dash Cam, so that we can make a recording on our cell phone or other device of the routes we take with the DS7?
In the event of an accident, we will have proof of what really happened, as is the case with the Dash cameras that are available for sale.
Could DS Engineers not be able to take advantage of this resource, which already exists, by installing software that would allow the use of these cameras for this purpose?

It’s a good idea you’re right. This is what Teslas do, they now take advantage of their 360 cameras to act as an all-round dashcam in the event of an accident.

As far as I am aware, there is no easy way to do this, without intercepting the video signal from the cameras and running it through some custom built software. Sounds pretty difficult!
