I bought my 2019 DS7 Crossback last month and check the available updates on DS Update application which published by DS Automobile website. whenever i checked the updates on the DS Update it gives me available 2 important updates nearly 23 GB data size updates seems never updated before. My main issue : Car multimedia system does not read files which I download from DS Update and upload the suitable 32 GB FAT32 formatted USB hard drive. It gives me always same error as like " No media inside the USB and No firmware found etc". Lastly i checked with ChatGPT he said issue related with the Licence file which given by DS Update is not suitable my car. Any contribution on this would be appreciated…

First of all, have you tried another usb stick?
I had the same issue which was solved by getting a new (and better) usb stick.

Yes i did try with latest tech 3.2 USB drive as well.Always gives me the error something its system doesnt recognize any USB for uptade. May be its been locked by system itself … As I mentioned before always used DS Update application entered my VIN number into DS Update to reach out particular files which compitable my car…
Alright, next thing we should rule out is the internet connection.
Yes, you still need a connection to the internet even though you put the update on a USB.
The system wants to verify the update and therefore there needs to be a connection.
In order to have the connection, you must have driven the car for at least 15 min for the last 7 days.
I suppose you have done that?
Next thing I come to think of is that the 2G network is about to be closed in a lot of countries, and that’s what our cars from a few years back use.
Could it be that the 2G network is closed where you live?
Then there could always be a fault in the DS update application of course.
A few of these might seem farfetched perhaps, but it is the best I can give you.
The admins here haven’t been on much lately and they’re the ones having access to the magic things, as far as I know.
Ok then,I ll try that again i connected with my mobile network before… Unfortunately each try at least takes 2 hours around including download files and extract to USB etc. Additionally Chat Gpt suggest me the UpdateInfo.xml file may missing its created this file and copy this into USB also doesnt work as well.and he checked files which firmware NAC based whether compitable or not…
Anyway i m close to giving up with this to much time wasted on simple software uptade huge disappointed for DS.
It’s not the best system out there, mildly put.
I haven’t had any issues with updates so far though, except for my faulty usb stick, but the developers behind both the update app and the mobile app are a bunch of amateurs. That much is clear.

Czesc , problem mie wystepuje tylko u Ciebie ale w calej europie , jestem z Polski i tak samo mam mapy i oprogramowanie z 2018r. i też nie mogę zaktualizować do dostepnej nie mówiąc już o aktualnej .
