hello to everyone.
I have owned a ds 7 rivoli, 2.0 hdi for a year. A few days ago I changed the brake pads and an error appeared, suspension fault-dont drive over 90 kmh. The car has active scan suspension and all modes still work.
In two service who are work Psa group , checked with diagnostic to see what the problem is, but the diagnostics do not show any errors. has anyone had a similar problem? one of the repairmen thinks that the camera that records the road needs to be calibrated, but unfortunately on the diagnostics, he can’t find where it’s done, he can’t even find the part around the suspension in order to go in and delete the error. the car works normally.
Just to mention that in Serbia there is no official service for ds. Thanks
Yes. Hi
I have had a similar experience. DS in Leicester told me that my rear brakes need changing; after inspection at Citroën Derby; they told me they did not need changing. However. On the health check it was explained that the rear suspension arms needed replacing because of the de-bonding. I contacted DS customer service and explained the situation and mentioned that this is a very well known issue. After three weeks I have been booked into DS Leicester in April. I understand that the cost will be split 50/50. I did get a quote from Citroën of £880 or there about. So I suggest you contact DS customer service and get it sorted fast. Thanks Derby
I went to the Ds service center Slovenia today and they solved the problem. First at the service they looked at the maintenance history and found that the rear problem part that is known as a defect on the Ds 7 model had already been replaced on my car.
Then diagnostic read constant problem with the connection on the left shock absorber.Connector was loose and broken. Only original diagnostics can find and read the fault.
