DS App

So, what is everybody’s opinion on DS App? In my 2022 DS4, it worked for 2 months, it stopped, it could not connect whatever I did, then I un-installed it and installed it back, worked again for some time, it got stuck and finally I let it go… My DS4 is the 1.6t (not phev), therefore operations of the app are literally the basics: trips, consumption, km for service, parking location and that’s it… And yet it couldn’t manage!

Anyway, my concern is not the connectivity issues of my ds4 with the app. I am considering the new ds no8, but if the app has that kind of issues there, then this is a major issue… So does anybody know whether ds has solved connectivity issues at latest models, ie ds no3, no4 or latest Ds7? Long shot this may be, is there any ds no8 owner here who can provide us with any feedback?

If you want to compare to the No.8 connection, you can only compare it with the No.8 and DS4/No.4. The other DS models have an older type of communication so this won’t explain anything.

I guess they will need to make a new app from a scratch. The app is one, you will get the same app version as anybody else is using for its DS, just with additional available services to subscribe. I would not expect any improvement in the terms of the connection since it is terrible from the launching.

Hi,
I agree in that the app lacks some functionality and that its really slow.
But at least for me it works to 99%, i use it daily now when its colder, once or twice per day sometimes more often.

App suddenly stopped working and refused to log me in. DS4 e-tense owner, never had any problems with it.

The app logs me out about twice a month. I enter my email and password to DS account, and it continues working.

Same for me, haven’t been able to figure out what triggers the “log out”.
First i thought it was some sort of timer ex. 30 days. But that doesnt seem to be the case, sometimes it happens (rarely) two or three times within only a few days. As of now it’s been three weeks since last time.

Heres what it shows on my screen regarding the “services” I’m supposed to have.
A blank screen ?
Yet on my phone the app shows all the services I have.
Not sure why they dont show in the car ?

App stopped working for me. Cant log in. What a shitshow

Same to me as well. Refuses to reconnect even after cache and data deletion and reinstallation.

Today, it’s not an app issue, but a server issue. That’s why you (we) can’t log in.

I managed to get the app working but its all in French even though the language is set for English ?
The car though is still not showing the services I’m signed up for.
