DS3 electric traction system fault

My DS3 Crossback registered in 2022 has started showing a fault on dashboard. Electric traction system fault - repair needed. It started yesterday and it seems to put the car into limp mode. It has done this 3 times yesterday and once today and this is really worrying especially when driving in traffic and I suddenly have little to no power. If I switch car off and re start it does go but it is intermittent and I now feel unsafe driving it. I have contacted DS Customer Care who advised I need to book it for a diagnostic at a DS dealership but my nearest is Manchester which is 26 miles away. As it is out of warranty I wont get any assistance to get the car there, will have to pay for the diagnostic and for a courtesy car for the day. I will need to see if my RAC membership will cover transporting me there. Worst part is the garage can’t fit me in for 6 weeks!! I am pretty stuffed without a car and it seems I will have to sort my own alternative or take the risk and drive it. I have read some other forums that indicate this is a problem many others have had with their electric cars and it is something that may require a software update or a new onboard charger Ive even seen this linked to an A/C problem. I asked the guy at Customer Care would it damage the car further if I continue to drive it and he didn’t know !!! So I asked what would happen if I broke down and had to be recovered should I go straight to a DS garage and would I still have to wait 6 weeks for the diagnostic? He said the policy was to treat breakdowns as priority. So my question is this. Should I drive the car wait for the fault and get taken straight to the DS garage or even use my RAC homestart service to get me to the garage as a breakdown to try and get it sorted? Im scared to drive it in case it dies on a motorway or sonewhere I can’t safely recover it.

I have same issue, any update in your side ?

No update yet. I have not driven it and am waiting to go in for diagnosis 2/7/25
