I’m having an issue with my DS7 for updating the NAC & gps firmware. The DS update software download et copy the files to my USB without any problem (done on 5 different USB) but when i use those USB on my DS7 I get the hardware compatibility error (see attachments). Any idea about the error or a solution?
Because you are speaking of different folders etc. - just to be sure: You are using the official DS firmware download app; the app has your car with VIN code as a user, and you are following the whole process in the app including the portion where the app is copying the files to your USB drive? So you are not manually copying the files?
The DS mobile app asked me to download and install version [42.03.33.42_NAC-r0; thing I realized and caused the posted problem (Incompatible Hardware).
After several searches, tests and checks, to resolve the problem and recover the touch screen, I downloaded the MAP 17 WAVE 4 (https://download-cde.tomtom.com/OEM/PSA/MAP/PSA_map-eur_17 .0.0-r0-NAC_EUR_WAVE4.tar), which I extracted into a FAT32 USB key and just after connecting it, the screen restarted to give me access again.
Now after checking, I have version 31.09.46.62_NAC-r0 WAVE3 and MAP 10.
Now, someone more experienced should let us know if there are any potential (hardware?) incompatibility issues going from 3x versions to 4x ones.
Unfortunately I havent checked the first time I did my infotainment software update, so I dont know if I came from 3x or have had already 4x version.
Did the updates of both maps and infotainment software few times now but all within 4x software version range…
My ds7 is from 2018 Opera
