DS7 2023 Opera 300hp "auto hold"

Hey guys, I have a question regarding feature which I thought exists by default in every premium car as DS 7 for example. It is “Auto Hold”. Please, tell me that I am blind, this function exists and I simply can’t find it.

Hi,

The DS7 does not have auto hold, instead you can pull the park brake switch manually to hold, and it will automatically release upon acceleration.

Thanks,
Alex

Thanks Alex, but is there any reason to not having this feature in the ds autos? I mean, this is not a high tech and kind of easy todo nowdays… What was the reason to bot include it in the ds?

No idea! I didn’t design the spec haha. I agree, I think all autos should have it.

as far as I know, this is because French national regulations do not allow “auto hold”…

I’m also missing this feature, but I found a work around.
Just activate the cruise control when standing still, and the car stays put until the car in front starts moving and you press Resume.
This obviously requires that you’re not the first car at a stop. :upside_down_face:

I’m using this for 7 years now, but Auto Hold works only if you have adaptive cruise control. Feature works the same as on my DS9. To activate:

Hold Break + set cruise speed (+).
Your car will now Auto Hold and a handbreak with @ incon appears on the odometer. You can be first one, without cars in front of you.
