Our DS7 is 10 months old and we’re having the second severe issue right now. The first one was easy to solve, however, it was not really increasing the faith in the manufacturing quality of DS: The car stopped working due to a loose cable fitting at the battery. This should have been found by quality assurance, no?
The most recent issue is that the light “engine control” is on and the car runs on “emergency program”. Not really amusing.
With 15.000 kms on the odometer, I would have not expected this. What bugs me even more is the service I am receiving from DS: We immediately took the car to the “DS Store” in Munich and these guys told us to come back in 3 weeks. The did not even look at the car or connected the diagnosis system. This is mindblowing bad service.
I called the “DS customer service” but the only thing they told me is: Tow the car to the next DS Store. This is either in Regensburg or Augsburg. Both cities are miles away and I don’t want to do this running on “emergency program”.
Finally, I found a Citroën workshop which checked the OBD. Result: The engine problem results from a maintainance which is due in 300 kms. It is very hard for me to believe that the car stops working due to an upcoming maintainance. Anyone expierenced the same problem? Anyone got the same bloody bad service from DS?
