Hi all
Today I attempted to install the latest firmware update on my 2021 DS7 Crossback E-Tense Plug-In Hybrid using the official DS Update Tool.
The installation started normally, but after a few minutes I received the following error messages:
- “Firmware update error! Please remove the USB stick.”
- “Software loading on demand… System has limited functionality.”
Since then, the screen remains stuck in this limited mode. Navigation, radio, and most system functions are no longer working.
So far, I have:
- Reformatted the USB stick
- Re-downloaded the update via DS Update
- Restarted the system multiple times
Unfortunately, the update fails every time.
Has anyone experienced this issue or knows how to fix it?
