Over 2 days i’m a proud owner of the DS7 Crossback 2019, I had a few points for the DS Dealer what I didnt like during the test drive(s).
They could figure it all out and fixed it all, except 1 thing:
Car was adviced with DAB+ (Digital Radio), but there is no option in the radio settings to put this on. It only shows FM/AM.
Today I get the call that all is finished but even the mechanic think’s that there is simply no DAB function on this DS7.
So my question: Was DAB+ an extra option on the DS7 Crossback Rivoli 2019?
I can solve this for you! I have a 2019 DS7 Crossback Performance Line. My Infortainment screen SatNav ceased to operate and had to be replaced. The new one was installed and I realised I couldn’t get Dab radio onlyFM and Am.
On inspection it was found that an inferior model for Citroën model C and 4 had been fitted. The correct Infortainment unit for the DS7 should have2 orange connectors for the radio. Which replaced the inferior one. I therefore would think that a previous owner had a similar problem and too had the wrong Infortainment Unit installed.
I already need to contact the DS Dealer tomorrow, because since I drive this car for around 7 days, it seems I have issues with the gas response, sometimes I need to kick down the gas pedal to like 30-50% before the car starts to accelerate, sometimes it just accelerate directly when I use the pedal. Since it’s an automatic gearbox, it’s like I get my first driving lesson with a manual gearbox…
So I will also talk about the part about a wrong Information Unit!
