DS7 E-Tense Lane assist fault

I’ve been having issues with lane assist function on my vehicle, DS7 E-Tense 4x4 2020, lately.
The adaptive cruise control works just fine, but when I want to activate “lane assist” it tells me that there are no conditions to activate it. I’ve tried this many times, at different speeds, different roads, however, I always got the same message. Also, the function of lane departure warning system does not work.
I am not sure if it matters here, but the camera for traffic signs recognition works fine.

Is anyone familiar with the issue and how big the problem could be to fix it?

Sorry but I’ve not had that fault YET, I’ve had many others, so I guess its just a matter of time before I’m seeking help with the same issue your having

Mine is usually always active when i start the car and i actually have to disable it manually. Also maybe its just me but mine only works at speeds exceeding 75km/h so maybe try activating it above that speed and see if it gives you the same erorr. Then again there might be some differences between our models since i have the petrol non facelift version.

Thanks for the tip, but neither lower nor higher speeds worked.
Seems I will need look for some professional help :grinning:

Clean the rectangular radar below the grill. Dirt or other objects might be blocking it, giving the idea the weather conditions are not suitable.

Thanks for the tip, however, I didn’t help. Anyway, I think the radar is only to keep the distance from the objects in front of the vehicle when ACC is active, but not to keep the lanes.

I have same model, try to check parking sensors for dirt, and camera. Have you tried depress button on Direction indicators lever to run diagnostic? Or try to run it from media console.
It should say something.
Also check if green light is lit on the Lane positioning button.

The button for Lane assist seems to be working, it turns green when it is on. Also the steering wheel symbol shows on the dashboard, but it remains gray all the time, never turns green regardless if ACC is activated or not.
The parking sensors and camera seem fine. The sensors work during parking, and the camera recognizes traffic signs.
The car self-diagnostics shows only “…” Not sure what it means. Probably need to do a professional diagnostics on the car.

Hmm, strange. Can you make photo of dashboard while you are on road and driving? Do you use safety belts?
For base diagnostic some kind of ELM327 can do a job. I am using Klavkar one.

Thanks for your comments and ideas. Here you can see the message I get when trying to activate it. Of course the safety belts are used all the time. I haven’t run any diagnostics yet, but plan to do soon a professional one, since nothing else helped so far.

Strange, I can see this message while driving in heavy rain, fog or snow. Sometimes also when wheels spins on sand or slippery surface. Maybe there is problem with ABS speed sensor.
Car self diagnostic should show remaining distance to next service check and then “No fault” message. If it shows just “…” instead of remaining km - this happens when someone erases the “Trouble code” memory with diagnostic. You may try to visit nearest Peugeot or Citroën garage or mechanic - if DS dealership is too far. They should have possibility to read diagnostic codes and tell you what is wrong.

I find that the car is very sensitive to outside conditions.
My auto lights, active cruise, lane assist, vehicle too close warning all switch off in even the slightest change in weather conditions.
