Ds7 2020my, 2.0hdi, i have noticed sound when vehicle is stationary and moving steering wheel left or right. Sound is similar to the sound that can be heard while driving on special surfaces in parking garages, and only can be heard when vehicle is stationary or driving bellow 5-10km/h…
my first impression was that I need to add power steering fluid, but DS have electric power steering.
Do i have a reason to be worried? Any advice?
Hello, I have too a 2020 ds7 crossback BlueHdi 180 of 2020 with literally the same issue. They thought in the mechanic that the issue was the car suspension cups, bit once replaced the problem persisted.
They said the issue is with the electric steering and it needs to be all replaced (2600€ new…). I am trying to figure out another solution for this, to see if there is a more reasonable and affordable way of fixing it
I have the same sound as all of you guys. I replaced inner tie rod and track rod end on both sides of my steering. This sound that you have all been hearing was in my case from this parts. As they are relatively cheap this was my first thought to do. You ne to do the alignment of your steering afterwards.
Hi, thank you for your answers. I hope so that rods can solve this issue.
I will change these parts after summer holidays and i will report resulrs here.
