DS7 problem with drivers seat and mirrors

Hi new member so don’t really know what I’m doing , I picked up a new DS 7 Pallas 1.5 bluehdi last Thursday and all was fine until tonight when i put it in the garage and locked it, the mirrors didn’t fold in so after a look around and a fiddle I also found that the drivers seat has stopped retracting when I turn it off. Now I think the two faults could be related the mirrors fold on the interior switch ok. The only thing I have done was move the drivers seat while travelling I reset the memory function and if I manually put the seat right back with the buttons it resets to my position when i press no 1, any idea’s before I take it back to the dealers 100 miles away in the morning

Welcome to the community, @Guyno !
Both those features have on/off settings in the menu, so I suggest double checking that they’re still set to On as a start.

Thanks for your reply , yes its me that was the fool with the folding mirrors I had looked at the menu and had it ticked but when reading again ticked means disabled, as for the retracting seat I am now undecided if there is a fault or not, that is definitely turned on in the menu but my set driving position is 50mm from the maximum rear setting and if I move the seat further forward it retracts to my setting, so does it only retract for shorter legged people ?

I’m glad I could help halfway.
As for the seat, I’m not sure as I’m the only driver of my car and it always retracts the same way and resumes to the same position.
I don’t think the memories has anything to do with it at least. It resumes to the position it was when you shut off the car.
The manual says very little about this feature but you can read about it in the furthest right column, it’ called “Welcome function”.

The driver welcome function should always work regardless of the seat settings or the driver’s height - that’s the theory.

I haven’t tested this, but it’s possible that the seat doesn’t move all the way back during the driver welcome function, as the B-pillar would make it difficult to exit. It’s possible that beyond a certain range, the driver seat won’t move back because the “driver welcome” function is then positioned forward.

Yes that all makes sence, as I say if I move the seat forwards of my set position it retracts, so as you say with my set position being so far back there would be no advantage of it going any further back
