I have received notification that this is now due on my 24 reg DS7 1.5
Dealer says it cannot wait and be done at the same time as the 2nd service in May.
Advised it can take a full day, sometimes even longer, to carry out, rather than a while-you-wait task.
Has anyone else received notification and had this recall done already on their DS7, or got it booked in?
Mine (2023 Hdi 130 - French registered) is due in tomorrow (in France). They have book in time for 15:30 so clearly don’t think it’s that big a job as service is also being done then. I’ll post the outcome…
So, took car to Cazés Bergerac (Citroën/ DS agent) at 15:30 for 30,000 Km service and software ( NOX) update.
Called back at 17:30 to find car ready and washed (exterior)
Confirmed that software update. Oil change, brake fluid, oil filter and cabin filter all explicitly mentioned. Invoice does say ‘all technical operations undertaken’ for this service
Not noticed any issues since so unsure why some agents are quoting such long update times
Thanks very much for this update, John. It’s encouraging to know that they serviced your car and also performed the software update smoothly in a short space of time. I have now got my car booked in with a different main dealer who says they can perform the software update within a few hours.
