DS9 Towball

Recently bought a demonstration-mileage 2023 DS9 e-tense saloon, pretty happy with it but struggling to find anyone who will fit a tow ball to this car. I need it for a bike carrier, roof bars no good due to weight of wife’s electric bike. Main dealer quotes £1800, does anyone have any suggestions?
Tried all the national & local fitters I can think of, none can help.
Thanks!

We bought a 2023 DS9 1.5HDi in Jan 2024. Dealer (in France) fitted the OEM towball and wiring for 1,000€ - I’ll have a look at the make on the docs with it - it’s a well known company
Your price quoted seems steep, I’ve no idea why unless the e-Tense model is SO different

OTOH, I’ve seen people here paying £800+ in UK for replacement of rear suspension arms (faulty manufacture in 2020 models). I paid 400€ all in at dealer for job on my previous RHD DS9 2.0 Hdi…

.

Thanks, that’s interesting info. Since I posted, I’ve had a quote for £1000 fitted from what looks like a decent firm so I’ll probable go with that.
On a separate note, did you ever discover how to turn off the audible locking bleep? Driving me mad but my car seems to be a 2021-2023 spec, can’t find
anything in the menus to let do this.

Apologies for delay with towball model, keep forgetting each time I open boot

Mine is a detachable towball, vertically removeable, model by Oris is “Oris AK41”

Thanks, sounds similar to what I’m getting: Parts themselves seemed available from several suppliers, it was getting someone willing to actually fit the towball & electrics that I struggled with.

I am planning to sell ORIS AK41 detachable ball from my DS4 1.6 180hp 2022 if this can fit to your DS9

Thanks anyway, but as I said no problem getting the parts & electric kit, it was the fitting that no-one was willing to do. All sorted now, thanks again.
