my 61 plate ds3 has had the fan coming on last few days, now says engine fault on the warning signs, 100000 miles clattering in engine is it truly the end now
Anything else, burning oil, radiator level constantly needs topping up, smoke black or white from exhaust?

Sounds a if its getting hot, sure not needing water, or the cooling system bleeding, has anyone changed the Antifreeze recently?
The fan switches on as a fail-safe if something is wrong with the ICE; it likely doesn’t have to be related to temperature.
