Everything seems to be playing up on my 2023 ds7 e-tense 4x4 opera!

I’ve got my car going into the garage next, but the list of intermittent faults is just growing by the day! The frustrating thing is that all these faults just come and go. One day they work, next they don’t. Heres the list, has anyone else ended up with so many issues:

Brake pedal is squeaking when pushing down on the pedal

Heated seats intermittently not working,
or switch on then switch off

Keeps starting in French

Auto beam sometimes works, other times won’t move onto auto

Blind spot detector works intermittently

Passenger electric seat intermittently stops working

Auto wipers often go into full speed in light drizzle and won’t slow back down until switch wipers off

Courtesy lights ( welcome headlights/rear lights) not coming on. Only side DS floor lights come on

Android Auto often won’t recognise voice commands and gets stuck in apps ( 2 phones tried, to eliminate any issues on the phone side)

Auto climate control sometimes reverts to cooling when car is not up to temp

Car often won’t connect properly to the DS app, Meaning that remote pre conditioning can’t be remotely controlled

Heated windscreen is not working

Passenger door mirror doesn’t always fold in when locking

Along with this, i had the rear diff changed last year after getting a clicking sound from the rear passenger side whenever i pulled away or accelerated at lower speeds. Seemed to solve it, but its back again! I love the drive and look of the car, but all these niggles are driving me mad

This is “normal” in many PSA models. You can’t do anything about it.

To verify, check the glass in the camera’s field of view for dirt. The glass may need to be cleaned.

As Andrew says its normal, my car can do this often, the auto wipers on my wife’s Captur go crazy for no reason.

Same again, very dependant on outside ambient lighting. Mine can stay in auto for a full journey, the auto icon switches from green to grey, or just disappears altogether , main beam auto illuminates depending on conditions.
I would say its normal.

It’s worth reading the user manual to find out in what situations the AutoBeam function might not work. I always assume the user has done this.
However, there’s a fundamental difference between the DS7 and DS4 in the camera mounting. In the case of the DS4, there’s no problem with the camera’s field of view being obstructed from the cabin side.

Thanks for those responses, sound’s like I’ll have to live with the auto windscreen wipers looking like I’ve just Hot wired and nicked a car and got them stuck on full speed :joy: The car is clean, so may just be the nature of the adaptive auto beam. Let’s see what they come back with on all the other issues :grimacing:
