Exciting new driving mode DS4 e-tense

I promise you this is the last update, got a reply back from DS Connected Services regarding what caused the issue.
Apperently the Antenna module has its individual IMEI number, when the module is replaced with a new one, Stellantis need to restart the services to be able to recognize the new IMEI number.
In my case the workshop didnt know about this procedure, but in all other cases the workshop/retailer should create a ticket at Stellantis when they replace the module.

9 days later, everything is working. Connected services (in the app) updates on request and f.ex. when its fully charged.
Not a single issue up until now :ok_hand:

Resurrecting my old thread.
Two weeks ago my car once again entered “ghost mode” at startup.
Same story once again, towcar to workshop and wait for diagnostis.
This time they believe that they found the actual fault - A defective headunit. Under specific circumstances it freezes and wont wake up with less then a hard reset (removing batteries).
New unit on the way, will report back once it is installed.

IVI_head_unit controls the counter and headup display, so if the IVI has a fault on the LVDS line (video), the counter and HUD will be black.

As a curiosity Test Pattern in odo and ivi

Even the defrosting of rear view mirrors stops working when the head unit doenst work
As I’ve been told theres probably a damaged component or solderpoint, thats why the problem reveals itself sometimes when there’s sudden temperature shifts between + and - , high humidity etc.

Is that from your car @Andrew_PL ?

Yep…

I believe my head unit has reached its end of life :scream:
Let the car sit during the weekend and was only going to move the car two my own parking spot. Black screens… Fudge!! Thought that a physical “reset” would work this time also but I was wrong.
Left it without the batteries two times, first time In only waited 10 minutes before reconnecting, didnt work. Maybe I was to eager I thought to my self while disconnecting once more. Waited 30 minutes to be sure that everything was properly drained before reconnecting - still black screens

Will use my phone to see what speed Im traveling in tomorrow. Taking it to our Companys parking and will get it towed from there.
Reason for doing this is that we still have my old V60CC standing there as a “backup car”, garage is 40km in the opposite direction.

Hopefully the new head unit they have ordered will arrive soon!

Here we are almost 1 month later, no updates regarding the new headunit.
No loanercar even though the fault is within warranty and has been haunting my car since 6 month old.
I’ve asked our leascompany to search for legal advice to force the company i bought it from to buy it back.
I even wrote an email to their CEO telling him that I was willing to buy a new car from them if they bought my DS4 for the residual value as of now.
He haven’t replies at all, nor has the sales manager given any response.
Wont be buying another car from this company.
