I promise you this is the last update, got a reply back from DS Connected Services regarding what caused the issue.
Apperently the Antenna module has its individual IMEI number, when the module is replaced with a new one, Stellantis need to restart the services to be able to recognize the new IMEI number.
In my case the workshop didnt know about this procedure, but in all other cases the workshop/retailer should create a ticket at Stellantis when they replace the module.
9 days later, everything is working. Connected services (in the app) updates on request and f.ex. when its fully charged.
Not a single issue up until now ![]()
Resurrecting my old thread.
Two weeks ago my car once again entered “ghost mode” at startup.
Same story once again, towcar to workshop and wait for diagnostis.
This time they believe that they found the actual fault - A defective headunit. Under specific circumstances it freezes and wont wake up with less then a hard reset (removing batteries).
New unit on the way, will report back once it is installed.
IVI_head_unit controls the counter and headup display, so if the IVI has a fault on the LVDS line (video), the counter and HUD will be black.
As a curiosity Test Pattern in odo and ivi
Even the defrosting of rear view mirrors stops working when the head unit doenst work ![]()
As I’ve been told theres probably a damaged component or solderpoint, thats why the problem reveals itself sometimes when there’s sudden temperature shifts between + and - , high humidity etc.
Is that from your car @Andrew_PL ?
Yep…
