So yesterday I noticed a humming noise coming from the fan blower, it sounds like a blown exhaust (I thought it was the car Infront at first) anyone else experienced this? It only started yesterday as the car is hybrid (silent) it definitely wasn’t there before.
Every fan is balanced. If the weight attached to the fan falls off, the symptoms you described may occur.
The second possibility is that something fell in and damaged it. Unlikely, but possible.
There’s also a third possibility: bearing damage. Unfortunately, all options require disassembly of the fan.
