Hi everyone, at final I bought a ds4 plug in hybrid la premiere with focal electra second hand but left tweeter wasn’t working, got a pillar off and it was just disconecte, tweeter works fine, problem is, the tweeter cable is very short , so there is no way in hell I can connect the tweeter before installing the a pillar back.
Yea, is not to short, it reaches the speaker, seems like the only way to mount is back is to disasamble the gril and somehow place the pillar in its place, get the wire true the speaker hole and then mount the speaker because its so short, its imposible to wite the speaker before putting the pillar in its place
Dear Andrew,
May I kindly ask you how did you remove the a pillar? Which movement you did?
It seems the central metal pin is hard to disengage.
Do I have to pull or push the plastic bracket that surround the metal pin?
Please see the pic I found in the forum, for reference.
Start pulling from the top towards the opposite A-pillar side; the metal clips will release first. Once the clips are undone, you need to detach the plastic components from the pillar trim, otherwise the cover cannot be removed. It is difficult to explain exactly without photos, but you have to be careful, as the plastic parts can easily break when the metal clips snap free.
4- Pull the A Pillar panel toward the roof (just few mm). This will make it easier to remove the central metal clip.
5- Pull aside the door seal near the center of the A pillar.
6- Use plastic levers to find the leverage point to release the center metal clip (BE CAREFUL of the side airbag cables).

7- Once the central metal clip is released, the plastic A pillar panel remains connected to the metal frame via a flexible strap—don’t break it!
8- Unhook the flexible strap from the plastic strut , the strap will remain connected to the metal frame. have a look on it from the exterior of the car through the windscreen.
you have to disengage the clip (red circle)
10- Rotate the A pillar panel toward the dashboard, without pulling on the tweeter wiring.
11- Unplug the tweeter connector using a small flathead screwdriver.
