So last month we changed from a Citroen C5 Aircross to the DS7 Crossback E-Tense 225 Prestige Rivoli in Black, Pre reg 71 plate just 10 miles on the clock. We are loving the car, although it is back with the Dealer Tates Portslade as it would not ever drive in just EV mode, and in Hybrid mode the engine never ever went off. The Dealer has said there is a fault with the auxiliary battery, as it only holds 70% charge, just waiting for a new battery to be fitted and we should get the car back soon.
We got 43.7mpg an a 300 mile round trip last weekend, even with the iffy aux battery so hoping to improve on this once all sorted.
Cheers John & Lyn
Hello there!
Such a pity to have a niggle at the start of ownership. I hope that gets sorted quickly and that you both enjoy the new car.
Please let us know how that gets sorted for you.
Hi there and welcome!
Looking forward to having you here on the forum, as @Nods said, please do let us know when your issue gets resolved, nobody likes problems especially with a brand new car.
Thanks,
Alex
Hi Alex
The new auxiliary battery was fitted within 3 days at our local DS dealership and we got the DS back, it now wafts along in full EV mode and is like a different car, very pleased with it.
Cheers
John
Great news, enjoy the car
Than you Pete, the MPG has now gone up to 60mpg on a 300 mile round trip, stopped at destination and put in a full charge for free at a Pod Point in Tesco car park, so happy days.
Amazing! So glad it’s all working now. Range should get even better as the weather improves. If the battery is at optimum temperature it will perform much better.
