help please

We purchased a DS4 Cross Rivolli car built in 2022 in China. I wanted to change the region, but the multi-media system does not provide a choice of another region, only China. HOW CAN THIS BE FIXED?

There’s nothing you can do about it. The only option is to replace it with an EU one (or other region). But that’s not easy because you also have to replace the BSFR module (antenna).

Thanks for the reply. But is it really impossible to download the *apk file somewhere and install it in the car?

There is no app available because it’s not bad software, it’s just wrong hardware.
According to the information I know, the Chinese market is unique and this isn’t possible. Only replacing the entertainment system with one specific to the region solves this problem. This isn’t easy to, as it requires extensive knowledge. Simply replacing it won’t help; it will only get worse.

if you were a manufacturer of these machines, which way would you decide to go? should I install a “stripped-down” version for the Chinese market or redo everything for the Chinese market? I think it’s not that scary)))) But I can’t find the installation file.

Do you have the opportunity to ask an authorized dealer about this? I would pay for the help.

Only software for the Chinese market is compatible with your unit. There’s no file available online because the system is too complex. Software from another market won’t work, even if it were available.
Questions asked of DS technicians won’t yield any answers, even for a fortune. They don’t have the knowledge. They order everything by VIN.
The only solution is to change the hardware, but it must be from the same car with the language you need. Changing the model or brand will block the IVI. The IVI maintains the car’s mileage, so you should buy the IVI from a same car as yours but with lower mileage.
Purchasing an ivi is just the beginning of the “fun”. Of course, for the first you’ll need to change the VIN and pair the bsfr/antenna if OTA works in your region and this is not easy either

Hello,

If to believe the diagrams I have seen in Peugeots and my DS9 so far, this infotainment can be replaced with European version. I believe it has the same connectors but the panel has to be removed and checked first.
@Andrew_PL - mileage is only saved in ECU/BSI. Replacing these parts might potentially block your vehicle, but not infotainment/dashboard screens. These displays are mostly just “displays”. I replaced them personally at my friend’s 508 and it worked as plug-and-play. For the antenna, 100% there will be issues but I believe that can be solved in some way.

I wrote about IVI, not displays.
The mileage is also listed in IVI (at least in the IVI+VSM1 option like in ds4) - that’s what my trusted source says. I don’t know how true that is.
