I’m here on this forum as I’ve no experience dealing with DS vehicles-I own a DS 3 Crossback 2021 model and it’s suddenly stopped working
Can you offer a bit more info ?
But a DS that suddenly stops working, sounds about right ![]()
So sorry, very panicked.
Essentially I drove home from work yesterday a journey of 30 mins and everything seemed fine.
My husband tried moving my vehicle so he could access the garage and the engine wouldn’t start.
This morning the same when I tried starting it. Had the AA come out and they couldn’t diagnose the problem. So I’m being towed to a repair shop to wait for their advice
Hi DS7 E-TENSE PETROL HYBRID 4X4 2025 PLATE
should i be able to unlock and open windows with remote key ? Can close them no prob, but don’t seem to be able to open? Tia
Regards Scott , Scotland ![]()
You certainly should be abe to unlock all doors and hatch back using the fob.
You can also close the windows with the fob by holding down the lock button.
Opening the windows is not possible with the fob, which I find daft.
I’ve had numerous cars where you can open the windows with the fob.
BTW, I think this is posted in the wrong thread.
Might be a 12V battery issue. Many new DS and other Stellantis models suffering these days.
Let’s just hope that is all the garage come back to me with once they’ve had time to poke around and figure out. Thanks maté truly appreciate your time and consideration
When I bought this in 2021 I read a tonne of examples of how this brand of vehicle is reliable, hardworking and fairly efficient-to date it’s been all that; so just a tad surprised to say the least ![]()
Yeah,
It’s not great.
I’ve had 5 new main 12v batteries and 1 new smaller 12v battery in 18 months.
That’s besides other issues, such as sticking door handles.
We have a couple of sayings here in the UK.
" It’s a 20 yarder".
Which means, something looks good from 20 yards away but close up it’s a bit of a dog.
Or “Mutton dressed as lamb”.
Which basically means, something is dressed up to look good but underneath the fancy dressing it’s not good at all.
