How to change/add the BRM timepiece to your DS 7

Thanks Alex. That’s great news!

I assume I won’t need to disassemble the clock or Stop/Start button from the unit. I can just pull the plug for the motor? - I guess there’s a separate plug for the clock timekeeping mechanism

You will need to remove the clock from the dash and open it up to do this, but it is pretty simple to do.

hi have you received any updates to your question from @dave?

No assolutamente…

Hello alex,
Please could you just share information is it mandatory to turn on something in the software or you just installed mechanicaly BRM Clock in the way you described in the PDF file?
My car iz DS7 Performance line from 2020 and I am interested also to do this small upgrade with the clock…

No, you don’t need to change any software, the clock will work without having it configured in the BSI. At least mine did…

Hi folks. Can anyone advise how much the clock is t9 purchase from DS or elsewhere? Thanks.

TO purchase from DS it is over 1700 EUR. You can get them online from websites such as bartebben for 525 EUR.

https://bartebben.com/catalog/category/view/s/clock/id/187880/

@Dave also has some for sale for even less ~ 360EUR Unsure if he can ship overseas though and costs involved.

If i buy it does it come with the decorative faceplate? As i want to put it a performance line lefthand drive car, and will they all suit left and righthand drive cars?

Yes there is no difference between left/right-hand clocks and faceplates.

It may not come with the decrative faceplate, that has its own part number, check the PDF

I have also added the BRM timepiece which looks fantastic. I managed to buy one from a breakers in Portugal for £175 delivered. :sunglasses:

Hi,
When I removed the original flat panel and start switch there was 2 plugs with wires, one was attached to the start switch and the other, which was a small off white colour, was held in the back of the trim in a small holder.
What year and model is your DS?

Do u have a seer about this? I want to do it too… Thanks

How do u connect the two plugs behind the clock? Thanks

Hi, the wires should be behind the starter button and just push on.
