Trying to update my maps via my MAC. Version 16 went wrong in the car (error message) and I could only execute the update via a USB stick of the dealer. Same issue now with version 17. Read somewhere on the Peugeot forum that a MAC puts unwanted files on the USB stick. I was able to update the Touchscreen software also via MAC. I was able to update older versions via the same procedure via a USB stick auto formated by the DS update procedure. BBut now it goes in error. Anybody who can help me out ? FReaction of the dealer was to come to the dealership and have it updated - this is not considered as providing a proper solution! Map update via MAC should be possible.
Seems like DS + Mac is not a good match.

Thanks Jay for getting back to me. I am going to ask one of my neighbors with a windows pc to do the download for me and retry the update. So happy that the new DS3 of my wife is updating ‘over the air’. It remains strange that the Stellantis guys don’t succeed in providing a proper update solution for map updates via a MAC while the Touchscreen updates do work …

I have to fuzz about with USB stick too, and I rarely do 45+ min drives which means I have to spend my time sitting still in the car while updating. So much fun. 
Same here … And we didn’t even mention the download time, the creation time of the USB stick, certainly room for improvement … But hé, it remains a superb car !
