So bit of an odd one here.

Last night I locked the car using the remote, this then sets the alarm, at least thats how the alarm is set on my DS4.
Anyway, a couple of hours later I went out to put the car on charge but instead of unlocking with the fob, which was in my pocket, I just opened the boot by pressing the boot button on the tailgate, the boot opened and the door locks popped, but then for no apparent reason the door locks started retracting and popping back out by themselves, it did this 4 or 5 times, I thought perhaps I was pressing a button on the fob in my pocket but that was not the case ?

A minute or so later the cars alarm started sounding with the boot open, I had to press the unlock button on the fob to switch off the alarm.
I put the car on charge and locked everything back up by locking with the fob.
This morning the exact same thing happened when I opened the boot pressing the tailgate button (not using the fob) to put the charging cable away.

Very odd sequence of events but I’ve no idea why this happens ?
I’ve a feeling it has something to do with locking the using the fob but then opening it without using the fob , such as the boot ?

I can try this on my car in a few minutes.
Lock with FOB and then open trunk with button on tailgate
Will report back

My car unlocked as normal when approaching, no weird behaviour at all.

UPDATE:
I think I may of found out what happened ?
Driving home today I noticed in the passenger side mirror that the rear passenger door handle was half in and half out, so I’m thinking this was throwing the central locking into a bit of a tizzy ?

I know the DS4 handles can be a bit of an issue, I’ve already had one changed under warranty, hopefully though this one sticking was just a one off.
My wife did open and close this door earlier in the day, so perhaps she didnt close it properly ?
I’ve opened and closed it now a few times and opened the boot without using the fob and everything seems to be ok.
