New issue!

Today, my 2022 DS4 1.5 HDi wouldn’t move and wouldn’t shut down.

After driving for 15 km, I stopped for 5 minutes. When I started the car again, all the warning lights came on, and it remained in Park with the handbrake on.

I tried to shut down the engine, but the RPM would drop and then, instead of shutting down, it would o back up to the normal range. I tried a few times and it finally stopped.

Then I turned it on again, but the car still wouldn’t move. I disconnected the positive terminal from the battery for 10 seconds, and after that, everything was fine.

It’s a strange problem, but it sometimes happens in older models too. A proven method of resetting it is by disconnecting the 12V battery, and it seems to work. Drive it and observe.
