Please help with the doors!

It’s been a month with my DS7 and I’m mostly happy, but I’m fed up with the awful sound from the basic speaker system, so I decided it needs improvement.
The woofers actually sound pretty decent, providing a reasonable amount of bass, but mids and highs are terrible, with plenty of distortion and sound coloration because of uneven frequency responses.
First culprit, the low end quality of the tweeter.

Ok, it’s easy to replace, once you find a good candidate. But to get a flat response, installing a crossover is a must, and that requires taking the door apart. So I tried my best (reasonable previous experience), but I got stuck before fully detaching the panel.

That last photo shows the panel attachment point I can’t get to release. I’m afraid of breaking something, can someone help me please with some advice?
What about the lever? It seems to be fixed to the panel too.

Well, since no one had any word of advise I just waited… until my wireless carplay had a glitch and a very loud white noise came out of the sound system instead of Waze’s voice alerts. The noise was so loud, that after about 2 seconds there was some burnt smell inside the cabin and the sound system became muted.
I stoped when possible and after turning off the engine for a while, the sound system came back alive, but the tweeters were the cause of the burned smeel, as all 4 tweeters ceased to work permanently.
Great, now I had a stronger reason to replace them. Front tweeters are easy, but rear doors doesn’t give access to replace the tweeter without taking off the door panel.
As a quick solution for the front doors I decided to keep the female plug and the simple 10mF capacitor that gives a reasonably low filter cutoff point, and I may try a complete 2nd order crossover later if I’m not pleased with the results, once I become more acquainted with door panels.

As for the panel, the tough part was a retainer that has a locking pin.

The other tricky part was the inside door handle, it may come off the door and you need to detach it from the panel where it’s kept by 5 clips:

Be sure to do it on a hot day, if temperature is lower that 25C you will break a lot of plastic parts.
