I bought my 2021 DS7 crossback 4x4 at the end of June. According to the DS website (https://www.dsautomobiles.co.uk/owners/my-ds/recall-campaigns/recall-campaigns.html) there is no recall outstanding on it
But according to the .gov.uk site at https://www.check-mot.service.gov.uk/ there is an outstanding recall.
Worth contacting my DS dealer for clarification or is it just that the .gov.uk site is out of date?
What does the recall concern, or what is its designation?
If the recall involves replacing the traction battery, you shouldn’t have it done, because they update the TBMU software first, and that’s when the trouble starts. This applies to both the old battery and the new replacement. Ultimately, it just results in you spending a huge amount of money.
It doesn’t say, just " There’s an outstanding recall on DS DS7 CROSSBACK PRSTGE PHEV4X4A" and to contact a dealer.
Is there a historical list of recalls, anywhere too? I coud maybe check and see what it would have had to have done
Ask DSstore if there is an outstanding recall for your car. You don’t have to do it, but at least you’ll find out.

Firstly, this primarily affects the DS7, C5 Aircross, and second-generation 5008. Secondly, it involves changes to the TBMU software that reduce the tolerance for voltage differences between traction battery cells; consequently, an old battery triggers an error quickly, while a new one does so somewhat later. Not at a DS Store, but rather at an independent workshop that is well-versed in this issue.
As the recalls are initiated by the manufacturer ( in your case DS) who then get DVLA to send out the notices, I’d trust the DS recall web site to be more accurate than DVLA.
If you have put your vin into the DS recall checker, and there is no recall showing, then personally I’d be happy with that.
That’s what I’ve done and it shows all clear.
