Good morning DS4 forum, I am a new owner of a DS4 Performance Line+.
So far, I have done a couple of things to it:
Hardwired a dashcam to the car (holy hell, I really hate where the safebox is — is there a way to actually remove it to reach it more easily?)
Soundproofed the floor
I now want to actually get the normal seats out and install the massaging, ventilated seats. Is it possible to retrofit them if I get the seats on my own, or is it impossible for me? Can it be done by a DS partner?
I am extremely sorry it seems I made a small error in my above text I am planning to soundproof the floor according to a tutorial of chrisfixit from youtube.
I do have accees to a modern car maintananece repair shop in our militarry barracks.
I would love to also retrofit the seats while doing that if possible but I am really new to stuff like this so I am wondering where I would even get seats like that.
First, Performance seats never have ventilation and massage. This wasn’t available from the factory for this trim level.
Second, DS Store technicians wouldn’t perform such modifications, even if ventilation and massage were available for the Performance trim.
Massage and ventilation are only available in trim with leather seats.
DS7,DS9 and Peugeot 508 uses same masagging and ventilated ‘‘front’’ seats as DS4 but almost all of them has leather and light coloured (Beige or white) combination. It’s quite rare to find leather and black version of these seats which would also not match with preformance line trim’s rear seats.
