I am driving a DS7 and finding of late that the sensitivity of the lights going to dipped lights for oncoming traffic is slow. This is blinding for the oncoming traffic. I now have to manually go to dipped lights.
Is there any way of solving this issue.
Is there some control that can be adjusted.
I have the same issue.
When letting the automation control the lights, oncoming traffic often flash their lights because I guess they get blinded by it. Haven’t found any setting for it.
How old/which revision is the DS7?
I am in France and have a 2023 model. I have just had. An official safety recall for modifcation of firmware for the headlamps - possibly connected to your issue?
Also, has your windscreen been changed? The fitters are supposed to chech alignment of all the cameras / detectors there after fitting
The car is one year old and is a cross back. It will be good to hear the outcome of the firmware update and it is solves this issue.
My windscreen has never been changed.
Weird, I’ve had the 2024 DS3 for a year now and have never encountered this… I have the matrix lights… Not the same tech?
My DS7 has the LED lights…

"IMPORTANT. This letter concerns your SAFETY
Dear Sir,
Your safety and the reliability of our vehicles are our top priorities. Our models are subject to strict technical examinations and rigorous quality controls throughout their life.
As such, the manufacturer has asked us to update the BEMP (Electronic Projector Management Box) software of your DS7, in order to correct any non-compliance in the operation of the dipped headlights so as not to dazzle other road users, in accordance with regulatory requirements.
This intervention requires a preventive workshop operation whose duration is estimated at one hour, fully covered by the Manufacturer.
We therefore ask you to make an appointment, at your convenience"
Sounds pretty clear, doesn’t it?
