One of the options in customisation is to switch on “Sport Ambiance Sound” which apparently is only available if the car is set to “Sport” Mode.
I’ve put the car in Sport mode and switched on the “Sport Ambiance Sound” in the customisation settings, but I cant hear any difference at all, either inside or outside.
I did ask the sales guy at the dealership what it meant and he said he’d never seen it before ?
Just wondering if anyone else has come across it ?
The car this the DS4 Performance Plus E Tense.
When the driving mode of the car is set to Sport, the car should produce some additional artificial noise on the inside through the speakers of the car, depending on how much you’re pressing on the gas pedal. When coasting you won’t notice any difference, only in situations where you’re depressing the gas pedal significantly like accelerating from standstill.
Having to turn this on every single time annoys me very much because why else would you put the car in Sport mode right
Thanks for the info,
Like a lot of features on newer cars it’s just another pointless gimmick.
Dare I say just like the Smart Touch feature which I was looking forward to using but now after just over a week of owning the car find I it absolutely pointless.
I agree, however smart touch has few additional futures:
answer / decline call by swiping left or right
pinch to zoom for zoom in/out - on navigation
double click with one finger to zoom in / double click with two finger to zoom out - on navigation - that is useful sometimes, much easier to use than pinch to zoom
