My right mirror is very squicky and when I close the door it rattle, the other mirror is very sturdy, anyone know how I can open the mirror? seems like the fixture is sturdy, so the problem is where the mirror folds
First, you need to remove the black cover. This is difficult because you have to pry it off with something very thin like a knife. It’s not secured with any screws. Be very careful not to damage the paint. Once you remove it, the rest is visible.
If these are anything like my previous Volvo they are a nightmare to pop off.
Be very careful to avoid snapping one of the plastic retaining clips.
