First post from a new member. A week ago I bought a DS 7 E-Tense 300hp 4x4 Plug-in Hybrid Grand Chic 2019. I’ve been very satisfied so far.
A few questions; What size tires / rims do you have on your cars?
My car was imported from France, and currently only has one set of rims (two sets of tires, one rim set ). Here in Finland, winter tires are mandatory, so there is a need for two sets of tires and rims.
I was wondering if the upcoming summer tire set would be 19" or 20". What are your experiences with possible 20" tires / rims?
And is the bolt pattern on the rims the same as on Citroëns?
I have the Sydney 20 inch rims.
Tyre size is : 245 x 40 x 20
When I ordered the car I was a bit concerned that the 20 inch rims would cause a lot of road noise and be a harder drive, but I was wrong.
My last car (Volvo R design) had just 18 inch rims, the road noise was awful, plus it was a hard ride.
My DS 4 E Tense on 20 rims is by far more comfortable and quieter than the Volvo.
I think the 19 & 20 inch alloys fill the wheel arches nicer and give the car a lower more sporty stance.
