Traffic accident

Another vehicle crashed into the rear part of my DS7 Crossback E-Tense 4x4. The bumper is damaged and there is a dent behind it, and after the accident the car could not be started due to error messages. I would like to know what could be damaged in the hybrid system and whether it is possible that the rear electric motor or the battery has been affected.

It’s unclear what was damaged because we don’t have specific information. Read the errors. Everything will be clear.

..or just let a DS garage take a look at it as the insurance company will pick up the bill.

Hello Boris,

If you are sure the damage has ended only at the bumper, check the LVNSD2 module. It is located just above the secondary car battery. If + supply is disconnected or cables leading to it, the car will not start. If it was more serious incident and it reached exhaustion or something around it, there is high probability the DCDC converter or its wires have been damaged. If that module is unresponsive, the car will not start.
Best to check everything with OBDII Diagbox and check the errors. It will tell you more or less what is the issue.

Best regards
