Hello, just wondering what tyres people are running on their ds7 etense, (I have the 300)
Is it best to go for premium brands or is a budget ok (I only ran budgets on my old Volvo V70 but this car is a bit different being hybrid).
Currently got Michelin’s on although the drivers side has worn more excessively then the passengers which is odd but I knew that was the case when I bought the car back in October.
On my Ds4 got installed 2 months ago the Falken Ze310 (as per tyre shop recommendation),tyre size 205/55R19 and i am actually very satisfied and impressed.
They have a very nice handling in dry and wet surface and low noise around 69db.
As per cost they are a bit cheaper if i am not mistaken than the Michelin primacy 4 or 5.
I am not sure if this is helpful, as we are talking for two different cars.
OEM specs for 19 inches were 235/50R19 for DS7 and 205/55R19 for DS4. I’m currently using 245/45R19 for my DS4 which is a bit expensive but has more Tyre Brand options. I currently have Hankook Ventus S1 Evo3. Its not a comfort tyre but i’m quite impressed with its braking performance for wet and dry surfaces.
We have a 2020 etense 300 4X4. We have been using Michelin Tyres. The DS 7 suspension geometry/alignment from the factory is poor. We have had three alignments going for a fourth soon, each with updated specs from DS. Never had a set of tryes last more than 17k miles. Everytime they are excessively worn on the inside of the tyre, through to the cords yet there is still 3-4mm tread left on the outside.
I am havivg the same car and wearing Micheline Primacy 5.
Amazing in dry and wet contitions
