Hi all, my 2017 DS5 had an iPhone user previously who’s disconnected the USB in central console and put an iPhone charger cable into the “pocket” between the steering wheel and door.
My question is: can the car’s firmware be updated any other way?

If you mean SMEG/NAC software update then there is no other option except via USB.

Don’t actually know what SMEG/NAC stands for, but sounds like I’ll have to put up with the Bluetooth disconnecting and reconnecting during a call, that’s all that I was hoping to improve. Can see the updates are for touch screen software and cartography, first of which seems to work fine, second I don’t use as like Waze!

SMEG was an audio unit until 2017, then NAC. If you can display Waze on your screen, you have a NAC audio unit.
