Hello everyone, I bought a second-hand 2023 model DS 4 two weeks ago. I want to turn on Wi-Fi in vehicle connections. However, it doesn’t turn on. It just spins. How can I do this?
It’s spinning because it’s searching for networks available in a given location. Select your network from the list and enter the password. It also spins frequently, even though the connection is there.
As Andrew says, I’ve seen mine constantly spinning yet its connected.
I want to connect by opening personal access on my phone. However, it cannot find any Wi-Fi networks.
Is there a detail I’m missing? For example, does the engine need to be running? Or does it just need to be on and the engine off? or something else I don’t know about? tnks
You can only connect to your phone if you turn off its Wi-Fi and turn on the router on it. Engine on or off doesn’t matter.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t connect. I can’t activate the car’s Wi-Fi feature. When I press activate, it just spins. It doesn’t find any Networks
I’ve put a wifi extender in my house to help the car connect.
Turn your phone into a router and then try again.
I went to the car service today regarding this issue. Apparently, this feature is disabled in Turkey. Updates are only available through car service. The vehicle software version is NHW.1.20.92.25
I hope it’s up to date? ![]()
OTA updates require BSFR connectivity, and that might not work in Turkey. Wi-Fi is a different matter, and maps should load that way. I don’t understand this DS policy.
I really don’t understand either. The only good thing is that there is no problem with my car regarding this issue. Thank you for your help.
