Flush Handle not Working

Sticky Door Handle

So another door handle has started to stick half in half out. This is the second one in a couple of months, the first one changed under warranty, this one booked in to be done with the dealership. Apparently this is such a common issue that dealerships have started to stock the handles. Anyone else had this issue ? My concern is what happens when the warranty runs out, these things cant be cheap ? Are they easy to get at from the inside ?

I’m now on my 4th new handle, all changed under warranty.
Known DS issue.
Yet no recall.
Dealership told me its cheaper for DS to just change them on an individual basis rather than do a full recall.

Theres a thread on here showing how to get access to the mechanism and carry out a DIY repair.
Basically it’s down to water ingress getting inside the mechanism.

Hi mate, can you please post a close-up of your handles im going to have a go at wrapping them as they look much better than chrome. Cheers

The black, in my opinion looks far better.
Chrome is a bit 1980’s .
But thats just my opinion.
